My GitHub bio says “There is no cloud it’s just someone else’s computer”.
During the day I'm the someone else, for one company. That work is under NDA, so it isn't in here.
What is in here: everything I've built on my own since 2024, oldest at the bottom. 2026 is the thickest layer.
Same projects, sorted into piles. Hover a building to see what it is.
The orange roofs got commits in the last two weeks.
The black one is the day job.
hi
I'm Yiğit Tarık Hakan, or tarik, or ythknn on GitHub. I live in Istanbul.
By day I do systems for a company in Istanbul: the servers, security, the office computers and printers, and a small team. I can't show that work, so this page is about the rest.
The rest is 42, a few iPhone apps, and small web tools under the name vo1d, mostly made in the evenings. About a third of my commits to my own projects land between ten at night and six in the morning. The chart is honest about it.
Some commit messages from before I learned to write commit messages
yağlı bir tost is a greasy toast. Türkçeleştirme means translating it into Turkish. The norm is 42's style checker, and it is never finished.
things I made
Kare Kare iPhone, 2026
A week is 168 hours. Kare Kare shows them as 168 squares, and you colour each one after it's gone. The grey ones are the hours nobody answered for.
No account, no server. The whole week is one JSON file on your phone. First commit on 19 October, 46 commits in six days.
JustDump iPhone, 2026
Hold the button, ramble, let go. It turns what you said into Apple Reminders with the dates and times filled in. The language model runs on the phone, so nothing you say leaves it.
It can also send timed tasks over to Kare Kare.
Sunline iPhone, 2026
A diary where each day is one line: thoughts, steps, sleep, mood, photos. At the end of the month it adds them up.
Free. It doesn't collect anything, there's nothing to sign up for.
A café, twice Three.js and CS 1.6, 2026
A real café in Istanbul. I rebuilt it in Three.js so you can walk around inside, then wrote a script that turns the same scene into a Counter-Strike 1.6 map.
Drag across the picture. Left is the browser version, right is the map.
vo1d
vo1d is the name I put small web tools under. There are two so far.
Notify npm, 2026
The macOS notification banners, for Next.js apps. They stack, swipe away and take replies. Published as @ythknn/notify.
ASCII Studio web, 2026
Turns a photo into ASCII art you can drop into a page as a component. Here it's drawing the computer from the top of this page. Move the mouse over it.

Made a GitHub account.
Go and Bluesky side projects: a project scaffolder, an ArgoCD scheduler a team needed, Bluesky moderation tools. Started 42 with
libft,ft_printfandget_next_line.so_long,push_swap,philosophers, thenminishellandcub3Dwith a teammate. Outside school, a restaurant booking system, and a scoring system with stage screens for tattoo conventions that I co-built.The C++ modules and a short guide to Inception. A road traffic simulator on real maps. Three iPhone apps and two web tools in October. The café map.

- Traffic. Pick an area on a map, get aerial photos and road masks for training a model, then run traffic on the real roads.
- Map tiles. A small tool that downloads and shows satellite tiles.
- Speakers. Designing a pair of bookshelf speakers. Not done.
